Anne Dayrit   [email protected]

Anne DayritWriting began as a curious hobby that blossomed into a lifelong passion for Anne, who considers herself fortunate for being able to do what she loves every day – while making a living out of it. After immersing herself in creative writing, journalism and development communication at the University of the Philippines, Anne honed her skills in business writing and editing, market research and industry analysis in trade publications. More than a decade of living in the corporate world later, she is back to enjoying writing without borders as a freelancer. When not frantically typing away to meet deadlines or staring blankly at her screen while willing some form of inspiration to hit her, Anne finds herself busiest in the kitchen experimenting with pasta sauces, pastries and oatmeal smoothies. On rare occasions of a downtime, she relishes the journeys in new places, snorkeling in pristine waters and lounging around the beach. But when outdoor adventures seem elusive, she contents herself watching suspense, dramatic, funny and campy shows or curling up with a good book – until it’s time to beat the next deadline.
